The Troublesome Comma

Wowzers! What a huge surprise! One of my poems, ‘The Troublesome Comma’, has been ‘commended’ in The Caterpillar Poetry Prize 2019. The judge for this year’s competition was children’s poetry legend, Brian Moses – cheers Brian!

Huge congratulations to the winning poet, Andrew Weale, for his poem, ‘Wonder-Pudderful’ and to all the other commended entrants.

Sincere thanks to the team at The Caterpillar. Published in Ireland, this quarterly magazine features poems, stories and art aimed at 7-11 year olds. It’s one of very few outlets for children’s poettry anywhere and I strongly recommend that you grab yourself a copy!
