Library, school and festival visits
I love sharing my passion for reading and writing with young audiences and have enjoyed visiting schools and libraries across WA. My presentations are informative, fun and engaging and have always been well received by kids ranging from Kindergarten to Year 7. I am very happy to travel to your venue, but if you are located further afield or outside of Western Australia, you might like to link up for a Skype visit!
Sessions are 45 to 60 minutes long depending on the age of the children and I charge ASA rates. I have a valid WA Working With Children Card.
I am also available to conduct ‘Read-Aloud’ workshops with staff and parents at your library, school or childcare centre. Presentations focus on the importance of Read-Aloud in building literacy in children, providing valuable pointers on how to get the most from picture books and giving participants the chance to improve their own Read-Aloud technique in a fun, supportive setting.
